I live and work in the Peak District National Park and have done for many years, my surroundings frequently feature in and influence my photography, from wonderful green hills with natural tones of outcrops of rocks, to the light and shade of ancient woodlands that the Peak District has in abundance. It is beautiful at any time of the year, and I feel very lucky to photograph here.

I am passionate about my work, whether it involves collaborating with large national companies to showcase commercial products, or working with local businesses to capture holiday accommodation at its best, or through to producing beautiful images for individual clients to treasure, I do it all with a pride. I also run very successful landscape photography workshops, and I get huge satisfaction from passing on my experience and expertise to others.

First and foremost, I am a friendly guy with a desire to please you, and I always guarantee you my best attention at all times. I see every photography commission as a new opportunity to exceed expectations, and I have a great wealth of knowledge and experience that I bring to every shoot. All my images are carefully hand-edited before they are delivered, and I work very hard to ensure that we are both delighted with the end results of every commission.

I live and breath the Peak District and being able to play my part in attracting visitors into the area is extremely satisfying.

Peak Cottages is a Peak District wide (and borders) holiday cottage letting agency and I have photographed many of the holiday cottages that they represent.

The images are used both online via their website and social media presence and also in print in the brochure that is produced annually. To view my property portfolio follow this link.

Peak Walking Adventures provide guided hill and moorland walks in the beautiful Peak District national park. They know the very best walks in the area, and their friendly, professional guides ‘bring the countryside to life’ by sharing with you a wealth of local knowledge.

Peak Walking Adventures and I run photography walks in the Peak District, so check out their website for those events.

I am a corporate member of the Friends of the Peak District and contribute images to this wonderful and meaningful charity that operates to ensure that the beauty and sustainability of the Peak District remains intact.

I am part of the ‘Made in Derbyshire‘ network as I produce scenic image products that all originate out of my home county of Derbyshire. I produce greeting cards, postcards, fridge magnets, mugs, prints onto canvas, and photographic prints.

I support Buxton Mountain Rescue Team and most recently I have provided them with fridge magnets to use as a fundraising tool. Depicted on the fridge magnets is ‘Mobile 1’ the teams Land Rover that I photographed with a Car Camera Rig.

My Local Calendar helps me to produce great calendars; Buxton Calendar and Peak District Calendar, and they are a true showcase of the area that only, me as a local photographer has the knowledge and time to capture.
