Low Mill Guesthouse, Yorkshire Dales

Low Mill Guesthouse is a stone built grade II listed late 18th Century cornmill situated in the beautiful village of Bainbridge in the heart of the amazing Yorkshire Dales. Low Mill offers unique and luxurious accommodation in the Dales.

Backing onto the River Bain Low Mill is an amazing place .Most of the original millworks ,including the waterwheel,remain in working order and are much in evidence throughout the house.

The Mill has undergone a full sympathetic restoration to become a  guesthouse.There are 3 letting bedrooms offering luxury accommodation throughout.

We provide a full Dinner Bed and Breakfast service,all rooms have WiFi.ipod docks,flat screen TVs ,fluffy towels,robes and lots of other treats
Bainbridge is right in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and makes an ideal base for exploring the many attractions on offer.We are surrounded by wonderful walking country with some lovely walks from the front door.

So whether you are out and about,warming by one of the open fires in winter or enjoying our interesting riverside garden and relaxing on the terrace or deck overlooking the River Bain a stay at Low Mill will provide an unforgettable experience in the unique atmosphere created by this fascinating and historic building.You may even see the waterwheel in operation !

The Workshop is a huge room with working mill machinery,  soaring rafters, stone walls and wooden floors This room also  has a  copper bath, walk in shower, log-burner and a big comfy bed.

There are also plenty of other little surprises to keep you entertained !

The Kiln Room
The Kiln room is at the back of the house and has views up and down the River Bain. The bedroom has a kingsize wooden sleigh bed and antique furniture.

There is a separate cosy lounge area with original earthenware drying room floor tiles, TV and DVD. The en-suite has a big walk in shower.

The Storeroom is at the front of the house and has lovely views to the side of our riverside garden and the hills beyond. It also has original stone walls, beams and wooden floors. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with a power shower over.
