TOG Says…

“We had a fantastic stay in the Oak Tree Inn when filming for Julia’s ITV series, Britain’s Best Walks. This lovely family run business could not have helped make our time in the beautiful village of Balmaha more enjoyable and hope we can visit them again.

What was great, is everything is under one roof, and after a long day filming and walking it was perfect to be able to hang up our boots and stroll from the bar to the restaurant.”

St Mocha is our new Coffee Shop and Ice Cream Parlour. The name St Mocha was inspired by the Gaelic Bealach Moc-ha, which translates as ‘The Pass of St. Mocha’ where the name Balmaha derives from.

Our coffee brand was developed with a passion to provide our visitors with an amazing artisan brewed coffee. Rather than bring in an existing brand we created our own with a determination to get it spot on. The hard work has been rewarded by a very enthusiastic response from our customers.

We really love coffee and wanted also to create the perfect place to share our passion, so along with the new coffee brand we built a brand new coffee shop which you will find adjacent to The Oak Tree Inn and Village Shop.

St Mocha serves espressos, flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos, all supplied by ethical Scottish roasters. You’ll also find a range of speciality teas, delicious home baking, soup and selection of snacks.

St Mocha is also the home of a brand new ice cream parlour selling a range of homemade flavours from our Loch Lomond Luxury Ice Cream range which features everything from Wild Strawberry to Pistachio.
