Award-winning 5 star B & B with 4 en suite bedrooms (3 of which have their own lounges), tucked away on a private lane amidst glorious Peak District scenery.

We are privileged to be living in Britain’s first designated National Park and you can be confident that, as holders of the Peak District Environmental Quality Mark (EQM), we do our utmost to run Underleigh House in a way that will help and look after the Peak District environment.

We make our own granary/wholemeal and white breads, using flours specially selected and packed for Caudwell’s Mill at Rowsley, and serve warm croissants baked daily in the Aga.

Underleigh House is committed to ensure an appropriate accommodation service for prospective guests with disabilities. Due to the layout of Underleigh House, we lack facilities for guests with severe mobility limitations but we are trying to make our house as accessible as we can. We welcome any enquiries from guests with disabilities so we can discuss their needs and all reasonable attempts will be made to meet these.

  • Magnificent views and walks from the door

TOG Says…

“The crew had a great time staying with Vivienne and Philip at Underleigh House. The breakfasts were the perfect way to start a full day walking and filming for the new walking programme. This episode might be the best one yet!”
