This gentle stroll around the Glencoe Lochan is suitable for wheelchair users and those with pushchairs. A lochan is simply a small loch or lake – and this one sits within the foothills of Glencoe.

Starting at the Crieff Hydro, this is a walk along some easy paths, offering lovely views of the surrounding area.
Along this stretch of the walk we get a good view of the Deil’s Cauldron itself – where the river Lednock emerges from a rock-walled gorge in a double cascade into a wide pool.
We start in the tiny village of Amulree located on the A822. There’s a little church with information boards here that is worth a visit if you have time.
