Inspired by Julia Bradbury’s love of walking, The Outdoor Guide was created to share routes suitable for complete beginners and experienced hikers alike, plus an ever-growing collection of accessible walks suitable for wheelchair users and families with buggies. A lot of these walks are filmed by the in-house team.
Holly is the videographer for The Outdoor Guide. Trained at the University of Cumbria, the Lake District is a big draw for her and it is where she started her filming career. Below are her thoughts on the Xpro Carbon 5 Section Fluid Video Monopod from Manfrotto.
“Manfrotto is a brand that I have known about since the beginning. I love the flexibility of using a monopod, as often out in the fells, I want the stability but without the weigh. Each project is different through. I also use a Manfrotto MVT545AQ tripod when I am using my Canon C200 for other projects.”
It’s not about having all the gear, it’s about having a passion for sharing stories, and getting in the fresh air, in all seasons. The Outdoor Guide’s YouTube Channel is a great place to visit if looking for a bit of outdoor inspiration.
