Walk Details
The way-marked Millennium Way takes you on a 28-mile walk from the lovely mixed woodland on Ramsey’s Sky Hill in the north-east right through the heart of the island to finish in the south at Castle Rushen in the appropriately named Castletown.

The ancient route was once known as ‘Via Regia’, the Royal Way along which the former Kings of Man travelled as recorded in the 13th Century Chronicles of the Kings of Mann and the Isles.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
