A walk in Kirkby Lonsdale
Bright yellow daffodils are popping up everywhere, the valleys are covered in a colourful blanket of tulips and hours of day light are getting longer which can only mean one thing…spring is here!

And what better way to appreciate Spring time in all its glory than on one of the fabulous walks in Kirkby Lonsdale?

It’s the perfect time to dust off your walking boots, explore the countryside as it greens up and treat yourself to a night away. You could even stay at The Royal Hotel for two nights and make it into a mini-break!

The walk starts in the high street of Kirkby Lonsdale. The walk takes you along footpaths and little lanes to the village of Whittington. Some lovely views from this higher elevation. The return to Kirkby Lonsdale is is entirely along the banks of the River Lune.
