British Film and TV Walks

You are here:

From Harry Potter to Poldark and Bridget Jones to James Bond, this collection of walks visits the stunning locations made famous by hit TV shows and blockbusting Hollywood movies.

We all know Britain’s landscape is a beautiful place to walk, but did you know it’s also been used as the backdrop to some of the world’s most iconic and famous screen moments? To celebrate we’ve created a series of walks that explore some of your favourite on-screen locations.

You can follow Bond’s Aston Martin through the Scottish Highlands on foot, explore the Lake District locations made famous in Beatrix Potter film adaptations, discover why Doctor Who visited the Offa’s Dyke Path, and visit the Northumberland sycamore tree immortalised in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. For soap fans, we’ve even thrown an Emmerdale walk in there!
