Whisby Nature Reserve Wheel Friendly Walk
Located off the A467 miles SW of Lincoln, Whisby Nature Reserve is a great place to visit for all the family. There are plenty of accessible paths to explore around the lakes; all ideal for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There are electric scooters available to hire out from the visitor centre. Around the lakes are accessible bird hides, so you can get close up and watch to the wildlife without being seen.

There is a café and shop- all wheelchair accessible- and plenty of disabled parking spaces. There’s a great playground for the children and accessible viewing platforms.
Entry is free and the park is open daily.

Debbie’s verdict…
A good place to visit for all the family. Plenty to do and see; plenty to keep the children happy. All very flat – ideal for manual wheelchair users and for the poor carer who has to push! (Highly recommend hiring a scooter though, saves a lot of effort!)
