Walk Details
This trail takes you on a lovely stroll around the wooded foothills of Glencoe.
We’re starting our walk in the car park at the Glencoe Lochan Trail Head. It’s a circular route – whilst our walk is going in a clockwise direction, you can go either way round.
The trails are clearly marked as you go through the magnificent, towering redwood trees with the mountain peaks reflected in the still waters of the lochan.
Our trail ends with a steep climb upwards, followed by a similar descent. If you’d prefer – you can take a lower path to miss this part out!
Carpark: Glencoe Lochan Trail Head, PH49 4HT. Parking costs £1 for one hour, £3 for all day. Blue badges are free (please display the badge prominently).

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
