Salop Leisure began its journey as Salop Caravans in 1966. Over the decades, as the company expanded, our showroom and offices were located in Meole Brace, Shrewsbury, for more than forty years. In 2006, we took a significant step forward by constructing a brand new, state-of-the-art showroom and service centre at Emstrey, just off the A5, on the outskirts of Shrewsbury.

Our Emstrey site offers ample free parking, making it a convenient location for visitors. In addition to our extensive showroom, we also have an on-site garden centre and a café, providing an enjoyable day out for the entire family. As we broadened our range of products and services, the decision was made to rebrand as Salop Leisure, reflecting our diverse offerings.

Salop Leisure has established strong relationships with some of the UK’s leading leisure manufacturers, such as ABI, Atlas, Carnaby, Swift, and Willerby. Today, we are proud to be the premier dealer of caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and holiday homes in the Midlands and Mid Wales. We are open seven days a week and invite visitors to explore our impressive Shrewsbury site, where we have over 200 touring caravans and motorhomes available.

One of the highlights of our site is our Holiday Home Village, which showcases 70 static caravans in a beautifully landscaped, park-like setting, allowing visitors to fully experience the possibilities of holiday home ownership. Our Accessory Superstore is another standout feature, offering an extensive range of caravan parts and accessories, with over 10,000 items in stock. We also carry a superb selection of awnings from leading brands such as Dorema, Isabella, Dometic Outdoor, Camptech, and Outdoor Revolution.

At Salop Leisure, we pride ourselves on our dedicated service and repair workshop, which operates seven days a week. Our skilled technicians work on touring caravans, motorhomes, and campervans, ensuring they remain in top condition. Additionally, our team of on-the-road engineers provide repair services for holiday homes at over 250 holiday parks throughout the Heart of England, Mid Wales, and the Mid Wales Coastal regions.

Our Emstrey location is easily accessible from a wide range of areas, thanks to its proximity to the Shrewsbury bypass. Visitors can easily spot our site by the iconic dragonfly sculpture at the entrance. Beyond Shrewsbury, we also have two other showrooms in Machynlleth, Mid Wales, and Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, offering even more opportunities to explore our range.

In addition to our core leisure products, we are also home to Love Plants, one of the leading plant centres in Shropshire. Love Plants features an impressive collection of over 10,000 plant species, shrubs, and trees, all cared for by a team of expert horticulturalists. Our knowledgeable staff are always on hand to provide advice, and we also offer local delivery services.

If you’re simply looking for a relaxing spot, our on-site café, Love Coffee, is the perfect place. With award-winning, speciality coffees, homemade cakes, and a selection of light lunches, including freshly prepared sandwiches and hot meals, there’s something for everyone. Our café also features daily and seasonal specials, ensuring there’s always something new to try. With free Wi-Fi and family-friendly facilities, including baby changing areas, Love Coffee offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

“At Salop Leisure, we’re thrilled to be partnering with The Outdoor Guide as it perfectly aligns with our passion for outdoor adventures and creating memorable experiences for families and children. This collaboration allows us to inspire and encourage more people to explore the natural beauty of the UK, especially with all of The Outdoor Guide’s charitable work with schools.”
