This September join Challenge The Wild and The Outdoor Guide for a weekend of adventures in the Lake District.
The Adventure Festival will be an opportunity for those who have recovered from cancer, are living with cancer, or want to support someone who has experienced this illness, to take part in an organised adventure based event, guided by professional instructors.
It’ll be an exhilarating and uplifting outdoor adventure where you’ll be encouraged to tackle a series of challenges that are designed to help build team spirit, self confidence and perhaps take you a little out of your comfort zone! Before you know it you’ll be facing your fears and achieving more than you thought you could.
You don’t need to be super fit or as strong as an ox to take part – you do though need to come with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour as we experience activities such as waterfall jumping, canyoning, rock scrambling, abseiling, hiking and canoe rafts.
Not only that – as this is an overnight event, you’ll also have the opportunity to sleep under the stars, enjoy locally produced food and enjoy the onsite bar.
