Walk Details

This is a beautifully scenic, circular walk that enables you to soak up the beauty of Castlehaven in County Cork.

Our walk starts at St. Barahans Church, renowned for its charming architecture and peaceful surroundings.

From here we’re headed westward, following the gentle path across the countryside, through the ancient tombstones of Castlehaven Graveyard, through the picturesque high street of Castletownshend that’s quintessential Irish charm – perhaps taking a pit stop in one of the many cafes or exploring the local shops.

From here we circle back around towards the Church where we began – taking the opportunity to soak in the stunning countryside that surrounds you.
