Set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, the Banningham Crown has been owned and run by the same family for nearly 30 years. They offer unparalleled service, a warm atmosphere and delicious seasonal food.

There’s regular live music showcasing the very best local talent. These events take place in the covered garden during the summer. During the winter they take place in the beautiful pub building, a converted 16th-century coach house with tonnes of history and character. Throughout the year there are other special events, including a monthly quiz night, a Burns night celebration and Morris Dancing.

Their menu is kid-friendly, and the pub is dog friendly so everyone in the family will be catered for. There’s plenty to keep the kids occupied, with giant Jenga available in the garden (parents are welcome to join in too, we know you want to!)

After finishing your delicious meal, why not take a stroll around Banningham Village. There is a 14th Century Church opposite the pub, which has 17 Angels on its hammer-beam roof. Or take a stroll around the streets, keeping an eye out for Oliver Cromwell’s legendary snake pit!

“We are delighted to be working with the Banningham Crown, not just because their pub is so lovely, but also because they are generously donating 10 sets of Waterproofs and Wellies to Colby School as part of the Waterproof and Wellies project.”
