The Dockyard Café Bar is located alongside Brunel’s ss Great Britain and offers superb views on to the ship as well as across Bristol’s historic floating harbour.
You can enjoy delicious light meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day; soak up the atmosphere on the waterfront terrace or sit inside literally watching the world sail by.
Our soups, paninis and sandwiches are all freshly prepared on the premises, with a good selection for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. For those indulging in ‘First Class’ treats we have a wide range of freshly baked cakes, scones and pastries. Inspired by Victorian recipes, our “baked on board” range of cakes are all made in the ship’s modern galley and include Victoria sponge, ginger, spiced cider and madeira cake.
We have a wide range of hot and cold drinks including hot chocolate, Fairtrade tea, mulled wine and cider (Thurs – Sun) and locally-roasted coffee using freshly-ground beans. Local and seasonal products are sourced where ever possible, including ales from The Great Western Brewery.
Our younger visitors can enjoy special children’s lunch boxes and high chairs are available.
