A wonderful cafe positioned close to the Menai Strait and on the coastal path in Anglesey.

We never had a detailed 5 year plan for The Marram Grass, armed with the naivety of youth and a good understanding of food, we only wanted to create a relaxed place where people could join us, the menu  would be based on quality, provenance and seasonality. I guess the rest is history! We  have been working away since early 2011 to create a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere where people can relax and enjoy themselves.

For those with pure food indulgence in mind, come on over and enjoy our ever changing, seasonally focused menu. We put a huge emphasis on the provenance of our ingredients our relationship with local farmers, producers & suppliers. Use our menus as a guide, we really do change them regularly.

Message to TOG

“We are really excited to be part of The Outdoor Guide and had a great time with Julia and the crew when they were filming here for her new walking series that is going to be shown on ITV.

We look forward to welcoming you here at The Marram Grass Cafe.”

TOG Says …

“The Barrie Brothers looked after us at the cafe when filming with them for Julia’s new walking series and there might have even been a dip in the sea at the end of the shoot, see behind the scene snippets here!

Menu

We have created a menu, using the finest seasonal produce. We use the best of Anglesey and Welsh produce but take inspiration from around the world.

All the dishes on the menu are designed with quality, seasonality and providence in mind. We practice nose to tail butchery like to make sure that nothing goes to waste.

Julia and the crew enjoyed meeting the Barrie Brothers and having some great meals when filming!
