Welcome to Castlerigg Hall Caravan – Camping – Glamping Park, set in the heart of the English Lakes District. Our award winning park is one of Britain’s most spectacular scenic sites.
Our elevated position provides wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding fells and offers pleasant woodland walks to Derwentwater and the beautiful market town of Keswick with its wide range of attractions. In fact we are a walkers paradise with direct access to Walla Crag with its superlative views of Keswick, Borrowdale, Skiddaw and Blencathra to name but a few and only a 30 minute walk to the mysterious 4000 year old Castlerigg Stone Circle.
Our family began farming at Castlerigg Hall in 1938 and created the caravan and camping park in the 50’s. We continue to develop and improve our park in a sympathetic way using local stone and materials.
Our updated facilities include shop, gallery, campers kitchen and a campers lounge. The toilet facilities feature underfloor heating and privacy cubicles.
We cater for Touring Caravans, Motorhomes, Camping, Holiday Hire Caravans and a range of Glamping accommodation including our unique HexPods with pet friendly options.
