Situated on the shores of the picturesque Loch Awe, Portsonachan Hotel has been in operation for well over 100 years. The original hotel building boasts 19 individually themed and decorated double rooms, some of which have Loch Views. As well as the original hotel building the hotel offers a range of alternative accommodation.
Firstly, the original Coach House building has been renovated into a range of 1, and 2 bedroomed apartments. A proportion of these have self-catering facilities and it is worth pointing out that they are pet friendly.
Secondly and immediately adjacent to the Hotel are 10 Luxury Lochside Apartments. Spread over 2 floors, these apartments contain a double room with en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen, downstairs Villeroy and Boch wetroom, lounge and waterside patio with panoramic views and outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying a long summer sunset.
Finally, the hotel owns 9 traditional Log Cabins. Ranging from 1 to 3 Bedrooms these lodges boast fine interior furnishings, fully equipped kitchens, lounge with 32″ TV and bathrooms. The 2 and 3 bedroomed log cabins are equipped with inbuilt saunas, whilst the 3 bedroom cabins have their own private hot tubs.
