Walk Details
Etal, together with its neighbour, Ford, is a small attractive village. Together they are part of an extensive agricultural-based estate, home to the Joicey family for over 100 years.
The Estate lies in the River Till Valley not far from the Scottish border and the site of the Battle of Flodden (1513). A visit to the Estate could provide a very pleasant day out.
Nearest Train (or tube) Station(s):

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
