Walk Details
Starting at the Portsonachan Hotel and Lodges, this hour-long circular route is perfect for getting your bearings in the area.
It starts along the glorious shores of Loch Awe, the longest Loch in Scotland. It’s the perfect time to spot coves for swimming from, admiring the mountains and seeing the local wildlife.
The walk then loops back, making the most of Scotland’s open access land. This will take you through trees and across a stream on your way back to the hotel for a cup of tea!

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
