Walk Details
The Byes, is a hidden gem in Sidmouth, Devon. It is a walk that follows the River Sid, from the town centre to Sidford. The track is a mixture of footpaths and cycle trails and is barrier free, making it a walk ideal for buggies and all types of wheelchair.
There are meadows and meandering paths to explore which are very dog friendly. This traffic free walk is great for children, with plenty of bridges for a game of Pooh Sticks.
There is an adventure play area too and plenty of seating along the way to rest weary feet. It is a lovely place to visit whatever time of year.
In the summer the meadows are awash with bright colours of wildflower whilst in autumn the woodlands are bursting with rich hues of oranges and browns.
