Walk Details
As you’re heading to Glencoe along the A82 you can’t help but notice Beinn a’Chrùlaiste. It makes for perhaps the greatest viewpoint for its celebrated neighbour, Buachaille Etive Mòr, with the outstanding views from the summit in all directions. It’s been said that these are some of the finest views not only of Glencoe but of the whole of Scotland – and it’s easy to see why.
This is a circular walk that you can do in either direction – our route takes you in a clockwise direction. It’s a fairly short, yet steep, hill walk over mostly heathery ground. There are some paths, although they are intermittent. In wet weather conditions parts of this route (especially the descent route) can get boggy. This can be avoided by retracing your steps back down from the summit rather than completing the circular walk.
