16 Characterful Bedrooms

Each characterful bedroom has been furnished in its own unique style and plays tribute to the hotel’s fascinating history.

Rooms are located either in the original 16th century part of the Inn or to the rear of the hotel with wonderful views of the Berwyn Mountains or the garden.

Guests can choose from a selection of Classic or King Valley rooms or upgrade to a Character room or larger Suite on those special occasions.

Offering a blend of traditional comfort and warmth with all the facilities you’d expect rooms benefit from en-suite bathrooms, soft and fluffy bath sheets, refreshment trays with a selection of tea and coffee, telephone, hair dryer, flat-screen TVs, central heating and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The West Arms welcomes seasoned walkers and outdoor sports enthusiasts year-round. Favourite activities nearby include; off road biking, mountain biking, shooting, cycling, horse-riding, golfing, fishing, canoeing and climbing.

The Berwyn foothills and peaks offer walkers endless routes including the popular Ceiriog Valley Walk or the Wayfarer’s. Nearby attractions include Chirk Castle, the historic town of Llangollen, and the National Trust’s 400-year-old stately home, Erddig.

Golfing enthusiasts can reach several fantastic Golf courses including; Vale of Llangollen Golf Club, Henlle Park Golf Club, Oswestry Golf Club, Llanymynech Golf Club and the Mile End Golf Club.

Horse-riders are also a short drive from Spring Hill Farm which runs regular riding sessions in the hills.
