This is a walk that you’re going to want to spend a whole day on as you travel through the beautiful and tranquil Glen Leven before reaching the eastern edge of the Blackwater Reservoir and the imposing Blackwater Dam.

As you’re heading to Glencoe along the A82 you can’t help but notice Beinn a’Chrùlaiste. It makes for perhaps the greatest viewpoint for its celebrated neighbour, Buachaille Etive Mòr
Starting from the Ballachulish Hotel, this is a challenging hill walk that you need to allow a day to do. Be warned – across this walk you will climb over 1300m, some of it quite steep with the need to possibly do some scrambling.
