Weight and pack size are kept down with the use of strong aluminium alloy for the centre pole and door frame. The improved zip-in groundsheet features a zip to the centre, enabling it to be rolled away at the door to create a safe area in which to use the optional stove and a place for muddy boots. Other options include a four-person inner tent and floor covering for comfort underfoot.
