with glimpses of Malham Tarn, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough. This really is a walk that offers some spectacular views!

When you make it back to Settle there’s a well-earned pint waiting for you in The Lion Inn, Settle. The bar and restaurant is wheelchair friendly, though there are no wheelchair accessible toilets. Or if you’d prefer something sweeter – we highly recommend the cream teas from The Watershed Mill. A great place for retail therapy and all wheelchair accessible.

Due to the nature of the trail, you will need a sturdy 4×4 all terrain wheelchair to complete this route – something like a TerrainHopper is perfect. It’s well worth the effort though as the scenery here is incredible!

If you’re looking for more wheel friendly walk in this area – try the Settle Giggleswick river walk.

The King William IV Guest House in Settle has an adapted ground floor room which is perfect if you’re looking for overnight accommodation in the area.
