Skiddaw House accessible walk, Lake District

The  track is generally good, but can get muddy and there are places where you will have to ford. This is not a route to be done after heavy rain.  

Skiddaw House is worth a visit for history, tea and flapjack :o)    

Be advised, the ford north of Skiddaw House can be impassable after heavy rain. 

There is a lovely wheelchair-accessible community cafe in Threlkeld, which also offers blue badge parking for visitors to the café.    

I used the TerrainHopper, an 4×4 all-terrain wheelchair, for this walk because of the rugged terrain but a good stretch of the track would be suitable for a Mountain Trike.
