In anticipation of our Walk Yourself Happy Days Out in 2025 – this week we’re headed to the beautiful Lake District.
Cosy Castlerigg Hall
We’re going to be staying at Castlerigg Hall, just a short distance from Keswick in the northern Lakes. Offering camping and glamping – the elevated site offers spectacular views out across the surrounding fells and Derwentwater.
The mystical stone circle
In the Lake District you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to walks with a host of Wainwrights and Fells to choose from. Practically from the doorstep of Castlerigg Hall we’re going to do the Castlerigg and Low Rigg walk that takes us to the beautifully mystical Castlerigg Stone Circle. They’re perhaps the dramatically sited of all the stone circles in the country – with panoramic views out towards Helvellyn and High Seat as a backdrop.
