Yvonne’s Bite Size Walks in Dorset
Bite Size Walks are my way to share my life. I love food, the British coast line and sunsets. So not been particularly fit I decided to embark on walking parts of the South West Coast Path but with Westerly aspects for the sun!

Why did I walk here?
I wanted a challenge and also I wanted to look for an ideal location to buy a house, so what better way than to go up hill and down dale and get in to parts and see areas you would not other while see when you have your car and to walk for my health and well being. I suffer with my back and have had plantar fasciitis and been on a big dose of steroids I have decided to get out in the fresh air and walk my self better (as it worked “ You Bet” I kept singing the song “ I’ve had the time of my life”).

This adventure is not about the miles I walk, but it’s about getting out in the fresh air and enjoying the adventure. Inspired by Julia Bradbury’s walking programme, I thought that could be me walking on that white sandy beach in Wales and then when Julia was sat at the top of Golden Cap in Dorset, I knew that could be me.

Basing myself at a nice family hotel at Eype I thought it would be a great starting point to go East towards Weymouth or West towards Golden Cap and beyond.
