Are you ready for Rutland?
First of all, because we’ve not had chance to say it sooner, Happy New Year! Let’s make 2024 a good one yes?
We’re really excited because we’re getting ready for the first Walk Yourself Happy Wellbeing Retreat with Julia. It’s taking place in the wonderful Rutland Hall & Spa at the end of February. There’s only 25 spaces available – so if you want to be there you better get booking!
Exploring the North Shore
If you’ve not been to Rutland before – you’ve been missing out! It’s England’s smallest county and has the motto Multum in Parvo (which means much in little) – something you’ll soon discover is very appropriate!
Rutland Water is more than just a reservoir – it’s an important nature reserve and home to many different species of flora and fauna. Our walk this week takes in the north shore – it’s a wheelchair friendly walk and offers some fantastic views out across the water (keep an eye out for the osprey).
After our walk we’re heading off to Rutland Hall & Spa for the night. This is where Julia’s retreat will be – sat overlooking Rutland Water you’re given a warm welcome, a comfy bed and amazing views.
Getting out and about with the family
We’re delighted to be working with Families Magazine to offer inspiration on great places to go walking with your little ones.
Families Magazine is THE premium free magazine for parents of children ages 0 to 12 in the UK. With more than 25 regional print and digital magazines across the country, Families Magazine helps parents find the very best things to do with their children locally, as well offering invaluable information about local holiday clubs, after school classes, days out and more.
Walk Yourself Happy Wellbeing Retreats
Rutland is the first of four retreats this year. We’ll also be hosting them in the Lake District in April, Shropshire in May and then the Peak District in June.
Alongside spending time on nature walks with Julia – you’ll also be learning from our team of experts on the power of your breath, the importance of rest, the benefits of eating well and the need for us all to play a bit more!
Each retreat is limited to just 25 people – so what are you waiting for?
