Walk Details
Today our walk starts in Great Casterton. From here we take the Pickworth Road out of the village, heading slightly uphill for 1 mile until we reach Mounts Lodge Farm to the right. We take the bridleway opposite, continuing until we take a right turn to stay on the bridleway rather than along a farm track.

Keeping the field boundary/hedge to our right, we leave the trees of Woodhead behind.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
