Research from the Finnish Forest Research Institute suggests that spending just 20 minutes a day in a natural environment can help reduce your blood pressure and raise your overall feeling of wellbeing.

This week we’re headed to the Malvern Hills for our walk. Voted as one of the nation’s favourite walks, this is a circular walk that takes in the Worcestershire Beacon – the highest point of these hills that run along the border of England and Wales. At just over 5 miles, this walk has some steep ascents and descents.

Make sure you check the weather forecast before going on any walk this winter – and ensure you have the right gear for the conditions you are likely to encounter.
