In what was once home to the local newspaper, you’ll find The Telegraph Hotel – objects d’arte from the printing days of the building’s former life are dotted around the communal areas. With generous sized bedrooms that exude the style of the 1960’s, you have a choice of doubles, twins, split level suites or the Winter Garden bedrooms that overlook a private indoor terrace.
The Telegraph is a fully accessible hotel – with ramps, lifts and fully accessible bedrooms (ask for a Freedom room when booking). Parking is at the nearby NCP at Belgrade Plaza – a short walk across Belgrade Square. There is a drop off zone outside the hotel though if you’d rather not walk too far with your overnight bags.
The Telegraph is located centrally in Coventry – next to the Belgrade Theatre and a short walk from the city centre shopping area. For eating you have the option of Forme and Chase, the hotels own all day restaurant, or a great selection of restaurants a 5 minute walk away in Broadgate and the Cathedral Lanes.
The Coventry Canal Walk starts from outside the hotel in Belgrade Square and the Historic Coventry Walk also takes you past the front door.
