Immerse yourself in nature on this lovely National Trust walk around Dunwich Heath in Suffolk.
Located in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Dunwich Heath has a variety of habitats including heather heath, gorse tracks, open grassland, woodland and shingle beach.
This easy circular walk will make you feel away from it all and at one with nature as you listen to birdsong and breathe in fresh coastal air.
It’s beautiful to look at too, this precious landscape pops with colour and is home to an abundance of wildlife including the rare Dartford warbler and the mysterious nightjar.
The walk starts and finishes close to the National Trust coastguard cottages – the sea watch lookout is an ideal place for spotting sea birds, porpoises and seals.
