Walk Details
Starting in the small village of Firle (just off the A27) this is a lovely walk that offers views across the East Sussex countryside and English Channel.
There’s a free car park in the village – this is your starting point. Head through the village in the direction of the sea to pick up the footpath that is clearly marked.
Getting up on the Downs is steep in places so be careful with your step! After you’ve come back down from the ridge and are making your way back – keep an eye out for one of the best kept secrets in Sussex. The Beanstalk Tea Garden is open Thursdays – Sundays and bank holidays and is the perfect place for a drink and a piece of cake.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
