Walk Details
Not all walks in Glen Coe need to be long, strenuous and uphill – and this one is proof of just that. Well you do go up a hill – but it’s only a little one!
From the car park we head over the footbridge to start our walk. With this being a circular walk you can go either way from here – we’re going to take a clockwise direction.
The paths are partially way marked and are of good condition. First we’re headed towards Signal Rock. It’s so called as legend has it that from here the signal was given to start the Glencoe Massacre back in 1692.
From the here we retrace our steps back down and then continue northwards to make a circular loop around An Torr, before finding ourselves back at the footbridge once more by the car park.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
