Walk Details
This is a lovely, gentle walk on well-defined paths that is suitable for all the family and great for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
We start in woodland at the National Trust carpark at Salcombe Hill, near Sidmouth – heading southwards to come out on the cliff top with views out across Devon’s Jurassic Coastline.
The Toposcope, located here on the cliff top, provides you with a wealth of information about the landscape and the landmarks.

The views here are absolutely stunning out across the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast. Come in the summer months and you’ll find the meadows here bursting with wild flowers and an array of butterfly species.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
