An Irish Journey
At the end of next week it’ll be St Patrick’s Day and so we thought we’d head over to the Emerald Isle for the weekend to celebrate. We’re still feeling inspired the Julia Bradbury’s Irish Journey that aired on Channel 4 back in the autumn (if you missed it – you can watch it online).
Later this month we’re going to be back in Birmingham for the National Outdoor Expo. It’s a brilliant weekend where you can hear from experts, get the latest kit and connect with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts! Want to come? Read on for details on how you can get your hands on some free tickets!
In Dublin’s fair city
Our walk this week takes us to the heart of Dublin and appropriately starts in the shadow of St Patrick’s Cathedral before heading off around some of the historic landmarks the city has to offer.
After our walk we’ll be heading to Temple Bar for the Craic – and it’s just a short distance from where we’ll be staying. The Merchant House offers spacious and luxurious suites just minutes from the centre of the city.
It’s awards season!
It’s that time of year – we’ve had the Emmy’s and the BAFTA’s and the Oscars are just around the corner. But there are other awards up for grabs too … we’re very humbled to have been shortlisted as Charity Initiative of the Year for the National Outdoor Expo Awards. The winner is chosen by public vote so …we’d love it if you’d vote for us? You have until tomorrow (Friday 8th March) to have your say!
Did someone say FREE tickets?
The National Outdoor Expo will be at the NEC in Birmingham from 23-24 March. We will be there again and we’d love you to come too.
Claim your free tickets here by using the code AWARDS.
Alongside Team TOG – you’ll also get to meet some of our friends and partners including Healthy Back Bags (if you’ve not seen these before – you’re going to love them), Flanci Activewear with their funky print leggings and Outdoor Active who’ll be offering inspiration for your next walking adventure!
And if that’s not incentive enough to come along – we have limited numbers of “Welly” good goody bags on offer in return for just a £10 donation to The Outdoor Guide Foundation. You’re not going to want to miss out on grabbing yours!
