Along this stretch of the walk we get a good view of the Deil’s Cauldron itself – where the river Lednock emerges from a rock-walled gorge in a double cascade into a wide pool.
We start in the tiny village of Amulree located on the A822. There’s a little church with information boards here that is worth a visit if you have time.
