Walk Details
At the north end of Lough Neagh you’ll find Randalstown Forest. It’s a beautiful place that offers a series of trails through the woodland, accompanied by the songs of the diverse birdlife that call here home.
Our walk is a little under 3 miles and takes us on a circular meander through the heart of this forest, following well maintained paths.
Make sure you take a moment to pause at the Randalstown Forest Bird Hide, positioned perfectly for breathtaking views out across Lough Neagh. Perhaps you’ll spot one of the many species of birds that thrive here including plovers, egrets and sandpipers.
This is a great walk to immerse yourself in nature with the serenity of the land and the incredible views.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
