Devon born and bred, I simply can’t think of a better place to share with outdoor enthusiasts! Having experienced the magic of these luxury holiday lodges for sale in South Devon – Dartmouth Grove – first hand, here’s my introduction to this part of the South Coast.

Approximately 5 miles away is the charming town of Dartmouth, nestled on the bank of the River Dart and on the South West Coast Path. The town is rich in culture and maritime history, whilst being a thriving destination for food and yacht lovers.
Just 10 miles away from Dartmouth Grove lies the town of Totnes, a much loved, historic and picturesque market town, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Totnes is affectionately known by locals as a hub for the artistic and creative community.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with beaches, with Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands within a 15 minute drive, and many more stretching out across the coastline. Just 10 miles away you will reach the southern boundary of Dartmoor National Park, a haven for wildlife, hiking and slow, purposeful living. This is the lifestyle for those that want an abundance of fresh air, big blue skies and a fresh green landscape.

Walk some of the area’s amazing trails
Walk The Dart Valley Trail just like Julia did – this route links two of the West Country’s most celebrated towns, Totnes and Dartmouth, following the beautiful River Dart through picturesque villages, finishing where river turns to sea. You can enjoy refueling on the abundant choice of food before heading back up the river.
