Walk Details
Sandringham Estate Country Park is a fantastic spot for a family adventure. One of the rare places that has everything – a nice café, parking, pushchair-friendly walks, a play area, woodland walks of different lengths, sculptures, trees to climb on, baby change, gift shop, free entry (although there are car park charges), dog friendly… we absolutely love it.
It has so much to offer. The fantastic and rustic play area is huge and there are dens everywhere.
Throughout the blue and yellow trails there are wooden sculptures which add fun and interest and there is also a specific ‘sculpture trail’ with wonderful carvings.
There are several trails to choose from and maps are available from the shop. Our route started at the café and we ambled over to the play area. We then walked along the blue trail but looped back on ourselves towards the car park so that we could pick up the green sculpture trail.
A fabulous area to explore that is, well, fit for royalty!

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
