Louise’s Kenwood House Walk
Starting at the car park, the walk begins passing the rather grand Kenwood House, with a place to grab a drink and snack if needed.
The route takes you skirting round the building, in and out of paths surrounded by foliage and leafy arches, with a view of one of the bigger lakes.
Following the path round there is a men’s bathing pond on one side, and a lake on the other, which is currently being redeveloped to include a place for model boat driving if you fancy a change in activity.
Passing this, head up Parliament Hill- the highest in London- for fantastic views across the City. The view includes landmarks such as The Shard, St Pauls Cathedral and the London Eye.
The route then takes you down the hill into woodland, great for tree climbing and hide-and-seek, with flowering Cherry Blossom, Bluebells and Daffodils if you visit at the right time of year. The women’s bathing pond is also down here.
After leaving the woodland there are great views of Kenwood House from a distance, particularly from across the bridge as you leave the woods.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
