CCW is the independent voice for water consumers in England and Wales. Since 2005, they have helped thousands of consumers resolve complaints against their water company or retailer. All of CCW’s work is informed by extensive research which is used to champion the interests of consumers and influence water companies, governments and retailers.

Our actions have a direct impact on the environment, and we all have a role in protecting it. To play its part in tackling this, CCW is working with the water sector to increase the transparency of environmental performance information and lead a sponsored campaign to raise awareness among people and businesses of the value of water in society and how personal behaviour affects the water environment.

‘Walking with Water’ is a core tenet of this approach, aiming to raise awareness of the value of water and the positive impact that everyone can have on the natural environment through simple daily changes. ‘Walking with Water’ is also educational, teaching children about the ongoing cycle of running rivers to running taps and back again, all whilst taking part in fun activities along the way.

Why we’re proud to partner with The Outdoor Guide

“We are delighted to be partnered with the Outdoor Guide and to have their help in promoting our ‘Walking with Water’ initiative. The environment is a precious thing that must be protected, prioritised and played in and, in line with The Outdoor Guide, we want to get as many people outside and interacting with nature as possible.”

TOG Says ...TOG Says …

“We’re huge advocates of getting outdoors – especially children. To be able to do that safely is a must. It’s why we’re proud to be working with CCW to highlight the importance of our waterways and how to stay safe around them.”
