A Rutland primary school has become the first in county to receive waterproof and wellies kits as part of a mission to aid outdoor learning.
On Wednesday last week, Edith Weston Primary School received a donation as part of the Waterproof and Wellies Project, launched by Gina Bradbury Fox, who co-founded The Outdoor Guide with her TV presenter sister, Julia Bradbury.
Gina, who attended Edith Weston Primary when she was a child, said: “Lack of access to weatherproof clothing is a real barrier for children engaging in outdoor learning.”
