“As a teenager I was introduced to outdoor rock climbing by a school friend. We spent many happy weekends and summer holidays playing at the crags in Derbyshire and Staffordshire before our first big camping trip to North Wales. Time spent outdoors, being free and adventurous on our own were some of my fondest childhood memories.
