Staying with us at Barnsdale Hall Hotel

Hotel: The bedrooms at Barnsdale Hall Hotel are of individual design, with some rooms offering spectacular views of Rutland Water. The main hall has nine individual bedrooms with other rooms being located in two separate accommodation blocks, some of which enjoy views of the water, as well as a private balcony. Wi-Fi is available in all bedrooms, please note we cannot guarantee connection speed due to our rural location.

There are tea and coffee making facilities in each bedroom, toiletries and iron/ironing board. Cots and Z-beds can be provided in most rooms for children. Please ask for these when making your booking. Self-catering accommodation is available on a rental basis.

A number of bedrooms have been designed to take into consideration those with disabilities. These rooms are all on the ground floor with easy access, walk-in showers and handrails.

Teal is a popular holiday cottage enjoying fabulous countryside views from the living room patio doors, two of the bedrooms, garden and hot tub. Excellent accessibility with easy wheelchair access throughout and disabled parking just outside. (M3A rated).

Spacious open plan design with fully equipped kitchen; the oak dining table extends to seat 12.

All three en-suite bedrooms (one with accessible wetroom) have comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and blackout blinds.

The enclosed garden, safe for both children and dogs, is equipped with hot tub, outdoor furniture and barbecue. A gate leads to our meadow which is perfect for picnicking.

Bathing House

The Bathing House

A simple hideaway where you leave the world behind you and unwind.

Built in the 1770s, at the same time as Sharpham House, the Bathing House was created on a bend in the river, below the main House.

It has one main living room, a beautiful bedroom with balcony overlooking the River Dart, a kitchen, a bathroom, a utility room and a sofa-bed in the lounge. Outside, a patio running the whole frontage of the Bathing House overlooks the water. Guests have reported seeing amazing wildlife close up – including otters feeding on fish in the River Dart.

The Big Workshop – sleeps 6

Enjoy the wonderful views across the fields towards Bircham Windmill from this spacious single storey cottage for 6.

It benefits from ample parking right outside the cottage and level access in and around the cottage to the paved garden area at the back and communal grassy area.

The sunny, light and spacious living area is designed for both the able and disabled user.

The open plan kitchen and dining space is fully equipped with everything you need including – oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, low level hob unit and some low level units integrated with normal height units.

Watch the sunset from the spacious sitting room complete with comfortable seating and TV/DVD player. Patio doors open out onto the garden seating area where you can soak up the view.

There are three bedrooms, one king size bed room and two twin bed rooms. The twin rooms share access to a large roll-in shower room with toilet and wash basin.

There is also a second roll-in shower room with toilet and wash basin. It is fully centrally heated and has its own enclosed garden and patio area.
