Walk Details
Starting from the carpark, you can do this walk one of two ways. You could either start in the playground, before wandering around the loop, or you could use the playground as motivation for your kids to get the whole way around the walk! There is a lovely café in the main building, but the we found the real attractions for the kids were the fallen trees which they could use as climbing frames.
Another fun feature of the walk was the lake, which is home to hundreds of birds and has a few spots to paddle from. Then there’s the deer, there’s a huge herd at Holkham almost always viewable at some point along this walk – just make sure not to startle them, they’re shy!
