Walk Details
Starting at the carpark, this fun 2-mile walk around Blickling Hall lake will keep your little ones busy for hours. It’s the perfect walk for a sunny, weekend afternoon. If you have time, take a picnic and find a spot along the shores of the lake, nestled amongst an impressive selection of ancient trees – including one of the best examples of a turkey oak in the country.

There are dens and downed logs to climb all around the lake, the kids can let their imaginations run wild. Once they’ve worn themselves out you could head to the café for a sweet treat, or to the nearby pub for a well earned lunch.

Remember to prepare properly before heading out on any type of walk or outdoor activity. Tell people where you are going and what time you are expected back. As Wainwright says "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
